Lead beneficiary:
European Association for Palliative Care (EAPC)

Objectives
The main aim of this WP is to design, manage and deliver the Dissemination and Communication of project information and results of the studies to key stakeholders in order to increase the impact of the project, improve outcomes for patients with refractory symptoms and their families, and enhance quality of clinical palliative care for those needing palliative sedation across Europe. Specific objectives are:
- To disseminate findings to those affected by cancer and their families and the general public to raise awareness of care options for those with refractory symptoms and improve symptom management
- To disseminate findings to the relevant medical and healthcare practitioners (including those working in palliative care and other disciplines)
- To deliver freely accessible information on how to manage patients with refractory symptoms to clinicians, patients, parents, family caregivers and the public.
Dr Julie Ling is the Work Package 8 lead and talks about the aims and objectives of this team:

“The EAPC’s primary role in this project is as the main dissemination partner. We will work with all of the partners to ensure that the work and the findings from this project are distributed to interested audiences.”
“I will be supporting a dissemination plan for the project so that all those who could benefit are aware of the project and its application to research, policy and practice including the development of website content and social media including blogs , tweets and sharable links to project outputs.”
